dc.description.abstract This study is about discourse analysis of Anies Baswedan’s Speech in Presidential Campaign 2024 at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). This research aims to analyze the grand campaign speech of Anies Rasyid Baswedan at the JIS in order to determine the dominant process of experiential function, to elucidate the realization of the process and to explain the reason why its realize in the speech.By using a qualitative design research, Anies Baswedan’s Speech was transcribed and analyzed by using Halliday’s SFL theory. The data was collected by using systematically Miles & Huberman theory. The results showed that the material process type as much as 50% became the most dominant process used, relational process 24%, the mental process 15%, verbal process 5%, existential process 6% and behavioral process 1%. The form of realization of the process in Anies' campaign speech in JIS is ideational metaphor with the most frequent type is simple realization as much as 77% and metaphor realization 23%. The reason for using this form of realization is to facilitate Anies Baswedan in providing an understanding of the ideas and mindsets conveyed so that they become more structured, meaningful, logical and understandable to the public. en_US
