researcher took all of them as the object to be analyzed. This research is focused on the grammatical ambiguity and the lexical ambiguity appears in the object. Kriedler theory and to find out the dominant type of ambiguity that used in The

As the need to analyze and identify the ambiguity sentences in intended object, the researcher using a table.To make easier for analyzing the data, the researcher classifying the ambiguity into its type and then listing them.After classifying and
listing the ambiguity into its type, the researcher determining the dominant type of ambiguity and tabulating all of the result to find out the dominant type of ambiguity in The Laugh a Day Book of Bloopers, Quotes, and Good Clean Jokes by Jim Kraus in percentage. The data are collected by applying descriptive qualitative method. Hence, the result of this research there were 78 ambiguous sentences in The Laugh a
Day Book of Bloopers, Quotes, and Good Clean Jokes by Jim Kraus e-book. There were 31 grammatical ambiguity(39.74%), and 47lexical ambiguity (60.26%). The most dominant type of ambiguity is lexical ambiguity that is 47 (60.26%).
