Abstract:
This study deals with The Use of Lectora Inspire Software Media to Improve
Students’ Achievement in Reading Comprehension This study was grade X
SMK PAB 3 Medan Estate consisted of 17 students. The data of this study were
obtained by using test, observation sheet and questionnaire. Based on the
analysis multimedia laboratory as a place for teaching learning process of
VHS(Vocation High School) students, the collected then analyzed by using
both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. it was found that the students,
achievement improved from the Pre- test, the basic knowledge of students’
achievement, the first cycle and the second cycle test using Lectora Media and
the students’ achievement improvement was significant as showed in test was
33.82, for sycle I was 575 and cycle II was 80.89. the obtaining higher score
was based on the activities designed to make the teaching process more excited,
active and enthusiasm to follow the teaching process by using advance
organizer strategy.
