Abstract:
The objective of this research was to investigate the effect of Blended
Learning Model with Moodle on the students’ writing achievement. It was
applied by using experimental research design. This research was conducted at
SMK Tritech Informatika on Jalan Bhayangkara No. 484 Kecamatan Medan
Tembung. It was conducted at the eleventh grade students of the first semester at
2019/2020 academy year as the population and sample of this research. There
were two parallel classes, which each class consisted of 18 students. So, the total
population was 36 students. The data of research were obtained by giving test
about writing news item text to the students. The research data were analyzed by
using t-test to find out the significane effect of the model used. The result showed
that there was difference on writing achievement between the students who were
taught by Blended Learning Model and those who were taught by conventional
method. It was proven by the value of ttest was 3.12 and ttable at the level of
significane of 0.05 (1.690), it means that ttest (3.12) > ttable (1.690). Based on the
research finding, it was concluded that the using of Blended Learning Model gave
the significane effect on the students’ writing achievement.
