Abstract:
This study entitle “Character Education Represented in Rumah Belajar
Kemendikbud Youtube Channel”. The objective of this study were to: (1) describe
the values of character education from 4 videos English Learning Material in
Rumah Belajar Kemendikbud Youtube Channel, (2) find out the values of
character education from 4 videos English Learning Material in Rumah Belajar
Kemendikbud Youtube Channel. The descriptive qualitative method was applied
in this study. The data were obtained from 4 videos English Learning Material in
Rumah Belajar Kemendikbud Youtube Channel. There are about Narrative text,
Asking and giving opinion, Expressing Ability/willingnes, and Event and
Advertisement. The data were analyzed by using the analyze model of Miles and
Huberman (2014) which is involving four step they are : (1) data collection, (2)
data condensation, (3) data display, (4) conclusion. The research findings, there
are eight character education values found in the 4 videos of English Learning
Materials which in the English learning material videos have similarities in their
character education values. There are religious, honesty, discipline, creative,
curiousty, friendly/communicative, reading pleasure, and social care. For
charcater education value of religious (2), honesty (2), discipline (1), creative (4),
curiosity (2), friendly/communicative (3), reading pleasure (1), and social care
(4). It was concluded that only eight character education values were found in 4
videos of English Language Learning Materials on the Ministry of Education and
Culture's Learning House Youtube Channel, the values recommended by the
Ministry of National Education.
