Abstract:
The formulation of the problem in this research that what are the difficulties faced
by students of class VII and VIII in reading Al-Qur'an students in MTs
Muhammadiyah 15 Medan, and what are the efforts of Islamic education teachers
in Overcoming the Difficulties of Reading Al-Qur'an through the method of Read
Lansung. while this study aims to determine the difficulties faced by students of
class VII and VIII in reading the Qur'an in MTs Muhammadiyah 15 Medan, To
know the Efforts taken in overcoming the difficulty of reading the Qur'an. This
research is a qualitative research that takes place in MTs Muhammadiyah 15
Medan which consists of two classes, namely class VII and VIII the total is 58
students, which is analyzed by 15 students. The techniques of data collection is
done by observation interview, observation and documentation. Based on the
results of research difficulties faced by students in reading the Qur'an in
accordance with makhrojul letters, tajwid and short length 75% Current. While
the factors that hinder students in learning to read Al-Qur'an in MTs
Muhammadiyah 15 Medan, the allocation of less time lessons, and student
environment.
