dc.description.abstractManagement is an important element in program implementation. This research discusses the management of the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program at the Al-Fatih Tanjung Selamat Tahfidz House. This research is motivated by the large number of educational institutions that implement Al-Qur'an tahfidz programs but pay little attention to their management. This research aims to find out how the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program is managed at the Al-Fatih Tanjung Selamat Tahfidz House. This research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Thisresearch uses data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The data source used is a primary data source, namely the leader of the Tahfidz house, the Tahfidz house teacher, the children in the Tahfidz house. Secondary data sources are in the form of theoretical data, documentation and other supporting data obtained from Rumah Tahfidz documents. This research data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation. Based on the research results and conclusions obtained, it shows that the management of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Program at the Tahfidz Al Fatih Tanjung Selamat House is in accordance with the theory of G.R. Terry's opinion, where in the management there are 1) Planning of the Tahfidz program is carried out in deliberation, there is a determination of criteria , goals, and updates. 2) Organizing the tahfidz program, namely determining criteria for supervising teachers, placement and division of tasks, and communication relationships between leaders and supervising teachers. 3) The tahfidz program is carried out twice a day in the morning and evening. In its implementation, there are methods used to memorize. 4) Supervision involves all teachers and guardians of students, use of memorization deposit books and murajaah books, as well as evaluation of memorization in individual exams and monthly exams. After this research was carried out, the researcher recommended to the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at Rumah Tahfidz Al-Fatih Tanjung Selamat that for program leaders or supervising teachers the management that had been implemented be made into physical evidence or documents as supporting data for the tahfidz program. This research method uses qualitative, where this research is based on the literature of various literary books and scientific journals which strengthen the discussion of this research. The results of the research objectives correlate with George R. Terry's model of leadership principles based on an Islamic perspective, with the hope of creating new values in good leadership management based on Islamic Sharia, because in essence Islam leads people to the right path to follow the rules and avoid prohibitions.
