dc.description.abstractThis research aims to classify and describe: (1) types of language styles found in instagram account posts @komikfaktap, (2) the meaning of sarcasm language styles in instagram account posts @komikfaktap. The theory used in this research is Keraf (2006:143–144) theory. Keraf (2006:143–144) classifies types of sarcasm language styles into 5 namely Propositional, Lexical, LikePrefix, Illocutionary. The researcher limit the object of research namely as many as 20 posts containing sarcasm language styles on a Instagram accounts @komikfaktap. The scope of this research was pragmatic. This research used qualitative research with descriptive method. The data of this research are in the form of words, phrases, and sentences that can be formulated as sarcasm language styles contained in the posts of @komikfaktap. The data collection technique in this research was using observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used the interactive model of (Schwandt, 1996). The most dominant sarcasm language style found in this study is Lexical, which is 7 data, while Propotional is 5 data, Like-Prefix is 3 data, and Illocutionary is 5 data. The sarcasm language style in Instagram account posts @komikfaktap is a medium for conveying criticism, opinions, and aspirations packaged in the form of comics as illustrated literary works.en_US
