dc.description.abstract This research was aimed to find out Word wall method in the students’ achievement on vocabulary. The sample of this research was eight grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 07 Medan at Academic Year 2017/2018. It consisted of two classes included of experimental group 25 students and control group 25 students as respondents. This research was conducted by using true experimental research. The instrument of the research was multiple choice tests including pre-test and post-test. In addition, there were pre-test, treatment or teaching and post-test in both of the groups. The result of t-test was 4.80 and the t-table was 2.01 which used 0.05 as the significant level of this research. Because the t-test value is higher than the t-table (4.80 >2.01), it show that the result in t-test was accepted (Ha). Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that there was significant effect of applying Word Wall method assisted by Flash Card on the students’ achievement in Vocabulary. Moreover, the students more enjoyable and deep understand in material. Indeed, it is recommended for teachers to apply this strategy in teaching English, especially in Vocabulary en_US
