The Effect Of Giving Brochures And Pamphlets On Students' Skill In Speaking At Second Year Student Of Junior High School

Abstract

This study deals with the effect of giving brochures and pamphlets on students’ skill in speaking at second year student of junior high school. The objective of study was to find out the use of giving brochures and pamphlets icrease the students achievements in speaking English. To find out the student’s ability taught by giving brochures and pamphlets in speaking English. This research was conducted at SMP Bina Satria Medan, located in Marelan Pasar I Medan. This research was focused during the academic year 20087/2018. The reason for choosing the school was because the school easy to be reached for the purpose of collecting data. And the same materials had already been applied there. The findings show that Based on the data analysis which shows that observed t is 24,19 and table t is 2,024. table t was found based on the result of degree of freedom (df). The fact shows that observed t is higher than the value of table t . It means that null hypothesis is rejected and alternative hypothesis is accepted. The students’ skill taught by giving brochures and pamphlets on the students’ skill in speaking is higher as 93% .
