dc.description.abstract The objectives of this research were to find out the improvement the students’ ability in Reading Exposition Text by using Double Brain Power Method. This research had been conducted by applying classroom action research. the subject of this research was eleventh grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Labuhan Deli academic year 2019/2020 on Jl. Serbaguna Ujung, Helvetia. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique which consist 35 students. The research was analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative data. In conducting this research, the researcher used two cycles namely cycle I and cycle II. Before giving the test in cycle I, the researcher gave pretest. In the pretest, the mean score was 42,85. In the first cycle test, the mean of the students’ score was 69,71 and the second cycle test, the mean score was 84; the students who got score more than 75 in cycle I was 12 students and percentage was 49%; the students who got score more than 75 I cycle II was 28 students with percentage was 98%. The qualitative data was taken from observation sheet I every cycle of students’ behavior. The students’ activities in cycle I was quite active and the students’ activities in cycle II was very active. Based on the results from qualitative and quantitative data proved that Double Brain Power Method improve the students’ ability in reading expositition text en_US
