dc.description.abstractWriting is a very difficult skill to learn because it requires knowledge in pouring ideas, ideas, or feelings into written form, besides that language teachers have difficulty when teaching writing skills due to lack of understanding of vocabulary and poor spelling grammar. The purpose of this study is to find out how the use of VistaCreate application affects the writing skills of high school students. This research was conducted at SM Dharmawangsa Medan. The population of this study was all XI classes consisting of XI MIPA 1 to XI MIPA 7 classes totaling 35 students. The sample of this study was one class. The method used in this research is Descriptive Quantitative with one-group pre-test and post-test design. The findings of this study indicate that the VistaCreate application has the potential to improve students' writing skills. This is indicated by the average pre test score 7.49 and the average post-test score of 7.49. This proves that there is a significant effect of using VistaCreate application that can improve the writing skills of students in grade XI of DHARMAWANGSA Medan High School.en_US
