dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to describe how to increase the quality of argumentative essays for student learning by using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) strategies. This is a two-cycle classroom action research study. This study focused on class XI high school students from PAB 2 Medan Helvetia, chosen by purposive sampling. The Essay Test comprises of 5 questions in the pre-test, an argumentative essay test in post-test 1, and post-test 2 to assess student development. Improved student grades and completion rates lead to an increase in enrollment. That The rise in students' total score from the pre-test was 1400 with a mean of 42.42 grew in post-test cycle 1, with a total score of 2507 with a mean of 75.96 in post-test cycle 2, with a total score of 2996 and a mean of 90.78. This yields absolute results in the pupil learning process. Therefore, implementing Cooperative Integrated Reading Composition Methods can increase the quality of producing argumentative essays. en_US
