dc.description.abstract Writing is considered an essential subject for it assists learners to construct messages that can endure overtime. Moreover, recognizing the significance of writing, pupils must overcome various difficulties to start writing since writing is a complex endeavor. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of using flipped learning concept with google meet to enhance EFL learners’ critical thinking skills in writing proficiency. This research was conducted in Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. The population and sample both had 68 students. Sampling was performed as part of random procedure. This study used quantitative methodologies, quasi-experimental design and data from second semester students as an experimental class sample of 35 students and a control class sample of 33 students. Students results before and after the tests were used to generate the data. Since the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk tests are larger than 0.05, it may be concluded that the adoption of the flipped learning concept can improve students' writing skills. The average post-test scores for the experimental class improved from 73.29 to 86.34, showing the significance of this effect. As a result, the outcomes of employing flipped learning as an engaging method for EFL learners’ writing skills. en_US
