In accordance with the objective of the study, it can claimed that using the Actional Functional Model has significantly increase students' writing comprehension of descriptive texts, as demonstrated by paired sample t-test analysis, according to the research's data analysis, findings and discussions. The results of the paired sample t-test of the two samples are 0.000 < 0.5 which means that there is an influence from the use of the Actional Functional Model on students' writing comprehension in descriptive text. The magnitude of this effect is evident from the mean score Post-Test of the Experimental Class which has improved from 62.45 to 85.30. So it can be said that there is a significant effect in writing comprehension of descriptive texts by using the Actional Functional Model en_US
