dc.description.abstract This study discuss about Language Variation in the Startup Workers Community. The objective of this study were to investigate (1) the type of language variation that is found in the startup worker community in Campaign.com and to investigate (2) the factor which influences the emergence of language variation among the startup workers community in Campaign.com. The method of this research was qualitative method with descriptive approach. The form of data of this reseach is recording videos of leaning process in A Better World Academy which was conducted by Campaign.com. The data were collected on this study by conducting several techniques namely observation, interview, recording and note taking. The finding of the research is the variations found on the utterence of startup workers in Campaign.com figured on the recording videos of leaning process in A Better World Academy. The types of language variation that found on this study were jargon, acrolect, slang, and vulgar. Jargon is the dominant type of language variation in startup workers of Campaign.com. The influence factor of the language variation were occupation, education, and age. Occupation is the dominant influence factor of the language variation. en_US
