The goal of this research is to analyze how students use the Duolingo game
application, an English learning application, to evaluate whether the Duolingo application
helps students learn English and to assess students' speech skills in speaking English.
Data is collected using post-test and pre-test methods in research techniques.This research
buse post-test and pre-test. The data source for this study was students from
MUHAMMADIYAH 1 Medan Junior High School, who focus on eleventh grade classes
by providing multiple-choice questions to test students using duolingo applications. The
researcher was the student's instrument. The quantitative design was used in this study.
Techniques for data analysis include 1) data collection procedures, 2) data analysis
techniques, and conclusions. According to data analysis findings, students provided
improvements to English learning and students' speech more smoothly and with a better
tone. However, learning English had a number of advantages, including: Students
provided proof when using the Duolingo application in English learning because the
application in Duolingo is a form of multiplechoice problem so that students enjoy and
enjoy, but they help the problem of speech and used repetition of words so that students
could follow how to say or speak. |
