dc.description.abstract This research aim’s to investigate language style variation on Corona virus disease (Covid-19) post in social media . The research is applied descriptive qualitative method in which it focused on two objectives of study. Firstly, to investigate situations types of language style variation were found in social media. Secondly, to investigate realized of language style variation in social media in posting Corona virus disease (covid-19) . The data of this research is caption related to covid-19 that found in social media it is Instagram. The data was collected through identified language style, do note–taking, and collecting references related to investigate the data. In analyzed the data, the researcher was classified the types of language style and investigating realization of language style variation on covid-19. Based on analysis, the research found three types of five types language style based on Martin Joss theory, that are formal style, consultative style, and casual style. On the formal style the researcher found eleven data. On the consultative style, the researcher found ten data. The last is casual style. In this style the researcher found nine data posted in social media it is Instagram and found the realization of language style variation on covid-19 to be informed to the Indonesian people through posted in social media. en_US
