Motivation is one of the important factors in encouraging someone to
produce performance. Motivation is a series of attitudes and values that influence
individuals to achieve specific things in accordance with individual goals. These
attitudes and values are invisible which provide the strength to encourage
individuals to behave in achieving their goals. In order for motivation to be
increased, it is necessary to know what influences that motivation. The purpose of
this study was to determine the effect of a charismatic leadership style on
employee work motivation at the North Labuhanbatu Population and Civil
Registration Service. This study uses an associative approach, which is research
conducted to determine the effect or relationship between the independent
variable and the dependent variable. The results showed that the leadership style
had a significant influence on work motivation. The coefficient of determination is
0.629 or 62.9%, which means that 62.9% of the work motivation variable can be
explained by the leadership style variable. Or it can be said that the contribution
of the leadership style to the work motivation of employees at the North
Labuhanbatu Civil Registration and Population Service is 62.9%. The remaining
37.1% is influenced by variables not examined in this study. |
