In the teaching and learning process, there are three aspects of ability that
are targeted, namely knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The balance between these
three aspects requires serious attention from teachers and all related parties in
schools, or in educational institutions. Students are nurtured and educated not only
smart, but at the same time have good social, moral/character and religious
sensitivity, so that students are born as a religious generation. To achieve the
goals of education with a religious nuance, teachers are expected to be able to
deliver students to have intelligence to understand good morals through giving
examples by showing good behavior so that students can imitate and apply them
in everyday life. The formulation of the problem in this study are:1. How is
character building for students at SMP IT Ibnu Halim Medan ? 2. How is the
implementation of the muhasabah method in fostering student character at SMP
IT Ibnu Halim ? 3 . What are the results of the implementation of the muhasabah
method in fostering student character at SMP IT Ibnu Halim ? The objectives to
be achieved from this research are as follows: 1. To find out how to develop
character in students at SMP IT Ibnu Halim 2. To find out how the
implementation of the muhasabah method in fostering student character at SMP
IT Ibnu Halim 3. To find out how the results of the implementation of the
muhasabah method in fostering student character at SMP IT Ibnu Halim 4. This
research method is descriptive qualitative, namely research that seeks to describe
a phenomenon, event, event that is happening now. Data were obtained through
interviews, observation, and document examination. |
