Efektivitas Layanan Konseling Kelompok Dengan Teknik Modeling Simbolik Dalam Mengurangi Gaya Hidup Hedonisme Siswa Kelas Vii Smp Pab 2 Helvetia Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2018/2019

Abstract

Group counseling service is a service that allows a number of students to simultaneously obtain material from certain sources (especially supervisors or counselors) that are useful to support daily life for individuals as students, family members and the community and to consider in decision making. The purpose of this study is to reduce the lifestyle of hedonism. This research was conducted at PAB 2 Helvetia Middle School Medan 2018/2019 Learning Year, which is located at Jalan Veteran Pasar IV Helvetia, Labuhan Deli District. The subject and object of the research are grade VII students to reduce the hedonism lifestyle. The data collection process was carried out for four weeks, namely in July 2019, with data collection, observation, and interview techniques. Based on the results of research conducted the effectiveness of group counseling services with symbolic modeling techniques in reduce hedonism lifestyle carried out by researchers running optimally and succeeded in reducing the hedonism lifestyle of students viewed from the results of interviews and questionnaires through google form. These changes after getting group counseling services in an effort to achieve the goals carried out jointly between counselee and counselor. Before I do group counseling services I see and make observations at school then after the implementation of group counseling services and changes occur in students which reduces the lifestyle of student hedonism. Thus it can be concluded that the Effectiveness of Group Counseling Services with Symbolic Modeling Techniques in Reducing the Lifestyle of Hedonism for Class VII Students of SMP PAB 2 Helvetia Medan 2018/2019.
