This study aimed to determine the effect of Azolla fertilizer and NPK 17:17:17 fertilizer on the growth and yield of rice (Oryza sativa L.). Held The field trials Muhammaddiyah Faculty of Agriculture University of North Sumatera, Jalan Tuar No. Sandpaper Medan District 56 with a height of ± 25 meters above sea level. In April 2019 until July 2019. There are 16 combinations of treatment was repeated 3 times a whopping 48 experimental plots, the distance between rows 20 cm bucket, bucket row spacing of 15 cm, length of plot 40 cm, width 50 cm. The results showed that the use of fertilizer Azolla show different response significant on plant height, number of productive tillers, long panicle, number of filled grain per panicle, weight of grain permalai, the weight of grain per plot, and weight of 1000 grain with the highest results at dosages of Azolla 600 g / bucket.en_US
