dc.description.abstractThe study entitled “English Language Collocations as Found in Anna Todd’s After discusses the types of collocation in English language and the dominant types in this novel. The collocations realized in the way they are to give the most natural way to say something and give alternative ways of saying something which more colourful and expressive . Research method applied qualitative descriptive. Benson and Ilson (1997) theory was used in analyzing type of collocation. Lexical collocation was chosen as the main type in this research. The sample in this study was taken from the novel by Anna Todd called After which one of the best selling novel in worldwide. The result of this study showed that there were 95 clauses of Adjective + noun had reached in percentage 25.40%. It showed that Adjective + noun is more used and quite easy to be collected.en_US
