dc.description.abstract | The study deals with "A Contrastive Analysis of Question Words Between English and Mandailaing Language" to discuss the similarities and dissimilarities that can be found in the interrogative sentence Mandailing and English language support. This study uses Contrastive method is a method that compares the two languages are derived from different clumps to find similarities and dissimilarities of the two languages. From this discussion it is found that there are some dissimilarities between the sentence asked both English and Mandailings that question words in the Mandailing language followed by articles such as the word "do" and besides there are also the use of question words, the function of the verb in the sentence asked, users supplementary question words and wordings in the interrogative sentence. In addition, there are some similarities that can be found from a comparison of the two languages, namely the equation in terms of number of question words, the number of varieties interrogative sentence and the question word as always be in a the beginning position interrogative sentence (such as the question word "aso" as asked "why") | en_US |
