dc.description.abstractThis study deals with the types of borrowing are found in the translation of Deception Point written by Dan Brown into Indonesian. In carrying out the study the researcher applied qualitative design as the approach to collect, analyses and writes the report. The source of the data were taken from the 66 sections of the novel Deception Point written by Dan Brown. After analyzing the data, the researcher concluded that the total borrowing found in the 66 sections of the novel Deception Point written by Dan Brown was 155 items. While the pure borrowing was 60 and the natural borrowing 95 words. The way how the translator used borrowing in the Deception Point Novel by Dan Brown are sixteen waysen_US
