dc.description.abstractThis research deals with the content analysis of the English textbook at the first grade of junior high school based on curriculum 2013. The objective of this study was to analyze conformity of content in the English textbook “Bahasa Inggris When Rings a Bell SMP/MTs kelas VII” according to curriculum 2013. This research used descriptive qualitative. The data collected for this research were from “Bahasa Inggris When Rings a Bell SMP/MTs kelas VII” published by the Ministry of Education and Culture with the writers Siti Wachidah, Asep Gunawan, Diyantari, Yuli Rulani Khatimah. There are 8 chapters within this textbook and the researcher determined to research 4 out of 8 chapters as the sample for whole book. The results of this study were (1) the conformity of content in English textbook “Bahasa Inggris When Rings a Bell SMP/MTs kelas VII” according curriculum 2013 with percentage 92.8% (2) KI and KD in this textbook also according curriculum 2013. Therefore, it can be concluded that English textbook “Bahasa Inggris When Rings a Bell SMP/MTs kelas VII” published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, in term of conformity of content was good to be used in the first grade of junior high school using curriculum 2013.en_US
