dc.description.abstractThe research deals with students’ perception of using Google Translate at SMP Tamansiswa Medan. The objective of this research is to know the students’ perception about using Google Translate. The population of this research was 25 students. Questionnaire sampling data technique was applied to get the sample of this research. Design of research used of this study was descriptive qualitative design. In this study the reseacher collected the data by using test and questionnaire that consist of twenty questions. In analyzing the data, the writer used some steps, that were given; test and questionnaire related to students’ answer about perception of using Google Translate. Comparing the students’ perception one another, processing the data become simple description that focus on the perception of using Google Translate and concluding the result of observation. Research result shows that most of the students’ knew about what Google Translate is ?, many students answered “appropriate and very appropriate” when they filled out a questionnaire that had been shared that it was proven that if they liked Google Translate in translating language especially english to bahasa.en_US
