dc.description.abstractThis study deals with The Effect of Using Cubing Technique on the Students’ Speaking Achievement by Poster. The objective of this research was to find out the significant effect of using Cubing Technique on the students’ speaking achievement by poster. This research was conducted at MAS Amaliyah Sunggal, Jl. Tani Asli, Kec. Sunggal, Kab. Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara of 2019/2020 academic year. The population of this research was the XI grade students consisting of three classes, XI IPA-1, XI IPA-2 and XI IPS-1 with total students 99. This study took two classes as a sample; XI- IPA-1 (30) and XI IPS-1 (30), with 60 students. The research used purposive sampling. Moreover, XI IPA-1 class was Experimental class taught by using Cubing Technique and XI IPS-1 was Control class taught by using Conventional Technique. The researcher gave a pretest, treatment and post-test to both groups. Having collected the data by using Tobserve formula, the result showed that t-observe was 7,38 and t-table was 2,00. The fact showed that t-observe was higher than t-table. (Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted). The result of this research concluded that there was a significant effect of using Cubing Technique on the students’ speaking achievement by poster.en_US
