Abstract: This study aims to determine the common mistakes made by students in writing narrative text with class X SMK Tarbiyah Islamiyah Hamparan Perak with 40 subjects involved. The writer used qualitative methods with the type qualitative description. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the information error is the most frequent error committed by class X students making 300 errors in regular verbs. In addition, it is followed by misinformation errors with 98 errors, addition with 20 errors, omission with 103 errors and misordering with 79 errors. It can be concluded that after analyzing through the research, the writer got the data regarding the students' mistakes that are commonly made by the students in writing narration used Cinderella story. These errors are information errors, additions, omissions, and misordering.
