dc.description.abstractThis research tells about Go International: An Eco-Friendly Bilingual Ito Comic Integrated Application Promoting Sumatra Tourism by focusing on comic content that can increase foreign tourists visiting destinations in North Sumatra. Data was collected from Ito Comic which was published in 2022. This comic was created by researcher and her beloved friends in Ito Comic Team. This research aims to introduce tourism in North Sumatra while empowering entrepreneurship in producing products in the form of comic books that support eco-friendly activities. This research was conducted with qualitative research. Analysis of market opportunities consisting of 86 women and 37 men with an age range of 10-30 years. Information was found that as many as 33% of respondents said they were very interested, 55% of respondents said they were interested in reading Si Ito comics which are made from recycled paper and equipped with comic applications circulating in the market. The result show that Si Ito comics can be used as a medium for promoting tourism in North Sumatra to the international. Apart from supporting eco friendly activities, Si Ito's comic books can be used as a medium for promoting tourism in North Sumatra by using two languages, as a form of learning media in introducing foreign languagesen_US
