Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and interaction between the administration of husk charcoal and goat manure on the growth and production of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 3 replications and 2 treatment factors, the first factor was husk charcoal A1 = 500 grams of husk charcoal, A2 = 1,500 grams of husk charcoal and A3 = 1,500 grams of husk charcoal, the second factor was goat manure fertilizer K1 = 1,000 grams of goat manure, K2 = 1,500 grams of goat manure, K3 = 2000 grams of goat manure and K4 = 2,500 grams of goat manure. Parameters measured were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, plant weight per sample, plant weight per plot. Observational data were analyzed using a list of variances and continued with the mean difference test according to Duncan's Multiple Test. The results showed that the administration of husk charcoal had a significant effect on the 6th week of WAP on the measurement of plant height parameters. However, the measurement of leaf number, leaf area, plant wet weight per sample and plant wet weight per plot were significantly different at 5 and 6 weeks WAP. Meanwhile, the application of goat manure had a significant effect on the 5th and 6th weeks of WAP on the measurement of plant height parameters, number of leaves, plant wet weight per sample and plant wet weight per plot. K4 treatment with a dose of 2.5 kg/polybag was the best result among other treatments. However, the leaf area measurements were significantly different at week 6 MST. The combination of husk charcoal with goat manure had no significant effect on all observed parameters.
