dc.description.abstract | This research is based on the use of the Memrise application in eight grade students' vocabulary learning. This research was conducted based on a preliminary study which showed that students had difficulty learning English due to their lack of vocabulary understanding, and the methods used by the teacher to teach vocabulary in a conventional way. The purpose of this study is to improve students' understanding and knowledge through the use of the Memrise application. The method in this study used pretest and posttest as data collection instruments. The data analysis techniques of this study were (1) normality test (2) homogeneity test (3) hypothesis testing in the form of t-test. Hypothesis testing uses the t-test formula which is preceded by a normality test and a homogeneity test. the results of the t-test shows that there is a significant effect to enrich the value sig (2-tailed) = 0.001 < 0, 05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In conclusion, there was the effect of using memrise application as digital media skill for students’ vocabulary enrichment at eight grade student. | en_US |
