Title: An Analysis of Students’ Challenges in Listening Course Through Online Learning During Pandemic

Abstract: Listening course has been the one of the subject that affected with online learning during the Covid-19. This study was aimed to figure out difficulties and challenges and students’ anticipation in learning listening through online during the Covid-19. By using a random sampling, fifteen students in the third semester of English education who have studied listening course were participated as the respondents. The data was collected by using interview to the respondents through WhatsApp Application. Based on the result of this study, the students got three difficulties such us: lack of vocabulary, limited time to listen the record and the different accents of the native speakers. Besides, there were also challenges during the online listening learning that faced the students like: internet connection, the packaging of the materials that lecturer gave. So, the students got some anticipation to prepare that everything relate about listening course such as listen to a podcasts or native speakers’ video, until listen music in YouTube Application.
