dc.description.abstractThis research discusses the Linguistic Strategy of the Official Website Covid-19 Indonesia. The objectives of the research are to investigate variations of the linguistic strategy used by the government on the official website of Covid-19 and to elaborate the realization of the linguistic strategy on the official website Covid-19. The research on this thesis was used by descriptive qualitative. The data were taken from the website Covid-19, 240 articles found on this website. The researcher found several findings of linguistic strategyy. There were two variations of linguistic strategy on the official website Covid-19, there was a persuasive and informative strategy. The linguistic strategy was divided into two strategies which were informative strategy as much 226 articles and persuasive strategy 14 articles. The most linguistic strategy that is used in selected on the official Website Covid 19 is Factual. Where the number use of informative strategy used factual 147 which are realized 61.2% on the official website of Covid-19.The realization on the official website Covid-19 used in interactional metadiscourse. Metadiscourse consists of articles Hedges 7, Boosters 26, and Engagement Markers 7. The realization linguistic strategy that was used in selected on the official Website Covid-19 is 26 Boosters which are realized 65% on the official website Covid-19.en_US
