dc.description.abstractThe study discussed about the quality of Google Translate and Google Docs Translator in translating hedging words. The objectives of this study were : (1) To help students finding translation machine quality in translating process with compared Google Translate and Google Docs Translator. And (2) To find out the accuracy of the machine translation between Google Translate and Google Docs Translator. This study applied a descriptive qualitative method to analyze the data. The source of the data was obtained from an online International news portal, namely BBC NEWS. The data was taken 15 news from BBC NEWS to find hedging words. The techniques in analyzing the data was using the theory of Sugiyono (2017), that is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. Then, there were found out the similarities, the differences, and the quality of two translation machines from translating hedging words based on the acceptability, readability, and accuracy of the translation results.en_US
