Abstract: This study deals in Speech act analysis of WHO Director-General‟s Statement about Coronavirus, 22-23 January 2020. This study aimed to find out kind of speech act especially the types of illocutionary acts found in WHO DirectorGeneral‟s Statement, to explain the process of illocutionary act are used on WHO Director-General‟s Statement. Descriptive qualitative research was applied in this study. The data of research were taken from WHO Director-General‟s Statement, 52 utterances found in this statements. The data were analyzed by identifying the statement into five type of illocutionary act, classifying the utterances in each type of illocutionary acts, analyzing types of illocutionary acts used in this statement. It was found that there were five type of illocutionary acts in WHO directorgeneral‟s statement about coronavirus, 22-23 january 2020 namely expressive, assertive, commisive, declarative, and directive. The writer found processes of illocutionary was used in WHO Director General‟s Statement about coronavirus, 22-23 January 2020, it can be conclude that expressive presented welcoming, thanking, apologizing, and praising, assertive presented claiming, stating, and predicting, declarative presented appointing, commisive presented promising, offering, and vowing, directive presented requesting, commanding, and advising
