Title: Hate Speech Analysis of Netizen’s Comments on Donald Trump’s Instagram Account

Abstract: This research dealt with the analysis of hate speech of netizen’s comments on Donald Trump’s instagram account. The objectives of research were to investigate the types of hate speech and the types of illocutionary act of netizen’s comments on Donald Trump’s instagram account, and it was applied by using descriptive method. The source of data was obtained from comments of netizen and it was collected by looking the instagram comments’ column and taking note, and the data were analyzed by some steps they were data reduction, data display, drawing and verifying conclusion. The data of this research were 36 comments. The finding showed that there were 36 hate speeches which consist of 12 insulting, 2 provoking, 2 unpleasant action, 10 defamation, 10 denigration. Based on the analysis of illocutionary act, it was found that there were 10 directives, 7 expressives, and 19 assertives.
