Abstract: Directive Speech Act is one of the most important things in doing communication. It contains not only meaningful information but also in instruction someone to do something. This research nalyze about directive speech act. The aim of the study is to describe the kinds of directive speech act and how speech act actualized in Jumanji Movie. The five kinds of this research ar descriptive qualitative method. From the analysis data, the researcher finds five kinds of directive speech act based on John Austin theory. There are five kinds directive speech act from Jumanji movie with the frequencies as follow: Request 0,01%, Command 31,30%, Suggestion 25,18%, Advice 0,04%, Asking 43,47%.
