The development in the field of automation is very rapid, especially in the medical
world. In the medical world infusion is the most commonly used tool. The function
of the infusion itself is to provide fluids to patients regularly. At this time, the
examination of IV fluids in patients is still done manually, so if there are problems
such as blockages or run out of fluids will be dangerous for patients if not treated
immediately. This research was conducted to overcome this delay. Therefore, in
this study a NodeMCU-based infusion monitoring system was created which is a
system controller or information manager. This system consists of two parts,
namely the transmitter in the patient's room and the receiver in the nurse's room.
Making this infusion droplet monitoring tool consists of several stages, namely the
identification of needs, analysis of needs, block diagram series, system planning,
step making tools, program flowchart, testing tools and data collection. This tool
uses a photodioda sensor that functions in detecting the condition of the intravenous
fluid level. The results of reading the condition of the infusion level will be sent to
a database called Firebase which will then be informed to the user or nurse through
an application that has been installed on Android. If the condition of the infusion
fluid is almost gone, the buzzer that functions as an alarm will be active |
