Abstract: In the current era of globalization and increasing mobility of Indonesian communities abroad, efforts to preserve national identity have become a major challenge for younger generations of the diaspora. Value based education grounded in Pancasila serves as an essential means of instilling national character from an early age, including through creative activities in non formal learning environments. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila values through creative activities in strengthening the national identity of Indonesian diaspora children in Malaysia. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed at the Malaysia Learning Center (SBM), utilizing in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that creative activities such as drawing Pancasila values, hero literacy exercises, Pancasila-themed snakes and ladders games, and crafting Indonesian flags are effective in instilling the values of mutual cooperation, tolerance, and nationalism. The use of the Indonesian language and the celebration of national holidays further reinforced children’s sense of patriotism. The learning center model has proven to be an effective medium for character education among diaspora children. This study recommends the replication of this model in other diaspora communities, as well as policy support from the government to strengthen Pancasila-based character education for Indonesian children abroad.</summary>

Abstract: The essential element in shaping students’ citizenship character lies in the extent to which Pancasila values can be internalized within a contextual and meaningful learning process. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which the internalization of Pancasila values can shape the citizenship character of students at the Sanggar Belajar in Kampung Bharu, Malaysia. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and sixth-grade students. The findings indicate that the process of citizenship character formation is carried out through habituation, role modeling, and value-based learning activities that emphasize religious values, discipline, and nationalism. The study found that the internalization of Pancasila values fosters a pleasant learning environment that is oriented toward character strengthening. This strategy has proven effective in reinforcing the national identity of Indonesian students living abroad and has been sustainably applied in other nonformal education programs to enhance the quality of citizenship character formation.</summary>

The implementation of these strategies has proven effective in fostering love for the homeland, strengthening national identity, and shaping discipline and pride as Indonesian citizens. Theoretically, this study contributes to the development of the concept of patriotic pedagogy and culture-based character education through music within non-formal educational settings among Indonesian diaspora communities. Practically, the results offer an alternative model for educators and learning center administrators abroad to enhance civic and national education through creative and contextual approaches.</summary>

Abstract: Tingginya angka anak putus sekolah di kawasan pesisir menjadi tantangan serius &#xD;
bagi pembangunan masyarakat, khususnya di Kelurahan Bagan Deli, Belawan. &#xD;
Ketiadaan pendidikan formal menyebabkan terbatasnya pembentukan karakter &#xD;
dan meningkatkan risiko munculnya permasalahan sosial seperti kenakalan remaja &#xD;
dan kriminalitas. Menanggapi hal tersebut, Komunitas Pemuda Peduli Bagan Deli &#xD;
(KPPBD) hadir dengan berbagai program pembinaan yang bertujuan &#xD;
menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter kepada anak putus sekolah. Penelitian ini &#xD;
bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran KPPBD dalam pembinaan karakter serta &#xD;
mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan program. &#xD;
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus untuk &#xD;
memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam terkait strategi dan dampak kegiatan &#xD;
KPPBD. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan anggota &#xD;
KPPBD, peserta program, dan tokoh masyarakat, serta observasi kegiatan dan &#xD;
dokumentasi. Data sekunder berupa arsip kegiatan, laporan, serta foto &#xD;
dokumentasi digunakan sebagai pelengkap. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model &#xD;
Miles dan Huberman melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan &#xD;
penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KPPBD memiliki &#xD;
peranan signifikan dalam menanamkan nilai disiplin, tanggung jawab, kejujuran, &#xD;
kerja sama, dan kepedulian sosial. Kegiatan seperti gerakan literasi, pengajian, &#xD;
pelatihan public speaking, serta gotong royong terbukti efektif dalam membentuk &#xD;
perilaku positif peserta. Faktor pendukung meliputi dukungan masyarakat, peran &#xD;
tokoh agama dan orang tua, serta inovasi program seperti perpustakaan keliling &#xD;
dan apung. Namun, hambatan berupa keterbatasan ekonomi, infrastruktur, dan &#xD;
Pkondisi geografis tetap menjadi tantangan utama. Kesimpulannya, KPPBD &#xD;
berperan sebagai agen perubahan sosial yang memberikan pendidikan nonformal &#xD;
sekaligus membangun karakter anak putus sekolah agar mampu kembali terarah &#xD;
pada keterlibatan sosial yang positif dan produktif.</summary>
